Teaches kids about peace and tolerance of others of differing ethnic backgrounds.

This program has proven helpful in promoting understanding of the roots of the Sri Lankan civil war. Though it is hard to change adults’ perspectives, teaching children to tolerate others is a small beginning to end the war. Making a difference in the world is hard, but starting small is a step in the right direction. Working with children is the best start, because anything you teach children will stay with them.
